"Milestones may be led by individuals, but they are always achieved by a team working as a family"
My Role: Release Manager
Certifications: SAFe 5.0 Agilist, DevOps Practitioner, Release Train Engineer
Achievement: Awarded twice in 2021-22 for excellent customer delivery
A lot goes into managing releases especially when it is done for large scale projects. I have managed product releases for past 2 quarters. An essential component for release management is to strategically craft release plans for deployments and define development timelines. Further, it also involves penning down the MOP for day of deployment and executing it successfully.
I have been able to understand the gaps and optimize release processes yielding a saving of 60% in deployment time
To make everyone collaborate and work together is highly challenging. This is what adds complexity to multi vendor projects. For my product releases, I have coordinated with 7 teams with a strength of 400members and enabled them to collaborate and work together. The overall impact of flawless collaborations slashed our product delivery time by 30%
Enhancing the AS-IS State highly depends upon restructuring the processes in a way which is feasible for workforce to accept and become a part of change. One of the tasks which consumes a good chunk of time is reporting. I have targeted this area and automated the manual reporting process. This has benefited the team with a 6man-hour reduction each day.
It is must to communicate especially to enhance team's productivity. I have served scrum teams and efficiently removed impediments for them by restructuring operational processes. Overall, their productivity is enhanced by 20% and reduced issue count by ~40%
